HSE Student Develops Platform for Online Physical Training
A student of the HSE Faculty of Computer Science and a team of like-minded people have created Fora.Vision, a startup platform for conducting remote physical training lessons in schools and universities. The computer vision-based system automatically counts the number of completed exercises and displays students’ progress in the teacher's personal account.

In the framework of a major academic mission to Latin America, a delegation from HSE University visited the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), a Brazilian higher education institution and analytical centre for training specialists in administration. This academic year, one of the courses of the HSE School of Communication will be taught entirely in the virtual space. A personal avatar of the teacher will help students through the process. The students will complete the course by implementing their own project in the metaverse.

HSE University’s Third Satellite Launched from Vostochny Cosmodrome
The small CubeSX-HSE-3 spacecraft was created by students and staff of the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. It is based on the OrbiCraft-Pro 3U platform by Sputnix. The work was carried out as part of the Space-π project with support from the Innovation Support Fund.
Faculty of Computer Science Opens Joint Department with MTS
HSE University’s Faculty of Computer Science is creating a joint department with MTS, one of Russia’s largest mobile operators and a leading provider of digital services. It will enable over 500 students annually to do research, attend classes in specialised disciplines, and solve real company cases.
HSE University Opens Representative Office at ITS University in Indonesia
HSE University-St Petersburg has opened a representative office at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia. The corresponding agreements were reached during a working trip by a delegation headed by HSE University-St Petersburg Director Anna Tyshetskaya.
HSE University and University of Technology Malaysia Sign Cooperation Agreement
On May 18, 2023, HSE University and the University of Technology Malaysia signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation at the XIV International Economic Forum ‘Russia—Islamic World: KazanForum’. The agreement was signed by HSE Rector Nikita Anisimov and UTM Vice Chancellor Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail.
